The projects of the Fondation 14312 of the University of Caen Normandy are centred around four main areas :

Developing research and innovation

Topics covered include : the fight against climate change, environmental protection, green chemistry, energy transition, bio-based materials, degenerative diseases, AI, memory, and peace.

Support for Student Success and Life

Upcoming programmes :

  • Scholarships based on social criteria, awarded for academic excellence, aimed at attracting baccalaureate holders to the university.
  • Support for students seeking certifications and attending trade shows.

Support for the transmission of scientific, technical, and industrial culture

Upcoming projects :

  • Support for the first edition of an English-language literature festival.
  • Assistance with the organisation of a design exhibition.

Enhancement of the city’s real estate, scientific, and cultural heritage

Upcoming projects :

  • Promotion of the Quoniam Bull, the ‘Bull confirming the privileges’ of the University by Pope Eugene IV, which instituted the Bishop of Bayeux as Chancellor of the University and is the first document marking the creation of the university in 1432, through the purchase of a display case.
  • Support for projects aimed at creating or renovating spaces

The proposed topics will be reviewed by the foundation’s steering committee and then submitted to the board of directors of the Fondation 1432, which will inform you of its decision.
